2018 Major - B Champions

Rebels Hockey Academy secured the 2018 Major B Championship with a 4-3 overtime victory over HDC Bandits at 7 Chiefs Sportsplex & Jim Starlight Centre.?

The final was tight from start to finish, with Rebels and Bandits trading goals through the first two periods to sit level at 3-3 after forty minutes. Rebels’ offense was sparked by first-period goals from Bryce Holler and Emory Van, followed by a second-period marker from Emric Neurauter, while HDC Bandits answered with two goals from Austin Sundquist and another from Indie Dube.?

After a scoreless third period, the championship was decided early in overtime when Cameron York scored just 33 seconds into the extra frame to deliver the title for Rebels Hockey Academy. With contributions from multiple scorers and a sudden-death winner, Rebels Hockey Academy finished the weekend as 2018 Major B Division Champions at the HSL Championship.?
