HSL Championship

2016 - Champions

Monday, March 30, 2026

MOB Hockey - 16M captured the 2016 Division Championship with a 10-6 win over Capital City Knights at Silent Ice Center’s Hesco Arena.

MOB exploded out of the gate with five unanswered goals in the first period, including tallies from Jett Kennedy (two), Jett Ward, Dallas Maczko, and Ayden Pike to build a 5-0 lead. They continued to roll in the second, adding four more from Landon Corrigan, Ava MacIsaac, Ryder Bruce, and Ward while the Knights started to respond with goals from Daniel Facciolo, Parker Czuy, and Bauer Armstrong.

Capital City kept pushing in the second and third with additional goals from Armstrong, Noah Thiessen, and Tanner Kellens to narrow the gap, but MOB’s early surge and a late third-period marker from Pike ensured the result was never in doubt. With multi-point performances up and down the lineup and offense spread across nine different goal scorers, MOB Hockey - 16M were crowned 2016 Division Champions at the HSL Championship.
